Sumi ink making house "KINKOEN" was featured in a popular Japanese TV program, 'Who Wants To Come To Japan,' on March 25, 2024.
The program invited a lady who loves calligraphy to Japan and offered various opportunities such as experiences how the expression changes when various types of Sumi ink are used on different types of WASHI paper, and she also had tried the actual Sumi ink making. The program thoroughly introduced the reasons why Sumi ink making takes at least three years and the behind-the-scenes of Sumi ink making, making it highly recommended.
