【創業400年 攀桂堂】SHIBIEN

The paper-wrapped brush "Shibien," bearing the inscription meaning "imperial court," is a new creation by Hankeido, made for the first time in 20 years. The label was written by calligrapher Satoshi Nemoto, who also provided the calligraphy for the title and served as a calligraphy advisor for the same drama. The brushes used in the 2024 NHK historical drama "Hikari no Kimi e" are paper-wrapped brushes, with tips that have the same length and balance as "Shibien."
